This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It had been some time since my last viewing of Little Miss Sunshine and having watched it whilst going through my early teenage years, and rewatched it as an adult, it strikes me how devastatingly sad the film really is. As a comedy, it strikes like a snake, swift and poignant with little warning... as a tragedy, the utter sadness of it all creeps under the skin of the viewer.
