There's a 1909 short comedy called The Curtain Pole. It stars Mack Sennett as a man who, while the guest as someone's house, breaks a curtain pole and must get a new one. I'm discoving a bit through these Sennett shorts.
1. Pay attention, because they move fast, especially in the beginning.
2. I don't think I'm a fan of Ford Sterling and his mugging. If he had a loveable personality to go along with it, I could stand it, but he just makes the same disgusted/unhappy expression the whole short. It gets old quickly.
