    There's a 1909 short comedy called The Curtain Pole. It stars Mack Sennett as a man who, while the guest as someone's house, breaks a curtain pole and must get a new one. On his way to and from doing this simple task, he causes complete havoc, and by the end, the whole town is chasing him as he takes the new pole to the house.

    I'm discoving a bit through these Sennett shorts.

    1. Pay attention, because they move fast, especially in the beginning.

    2. I don't think I'm a fan of Ford Sterling and his mugging. If he had a loveable personality to go along with it, I could stand it, but he just makes the same disgusted/unhappy expression the whole short. It gets old quickly.
