  Another Tuesday, another 3 hour Nolan epic. And this week I’m thanking my lucky stars I’m in Cronulla where everything is months (sometimes decades) after the rest of the country - because this was still showing at the cinema.

  Hyped up too much for me to properly enjoy it? Yeah. Is that my fault for taking 6 months to watch it? Also yeah. Did I still have a good time? I guess so. But what do I know - as Scott Hanson once told me - “I’m just TIM”. Looking forward to Oppenheimer tonight.

  We did the Christmas double. I’m not proud of it but what can you do when dad cracks another bottle of wine, stares you in the eye, and asks “how do we watch die hard?”. It even woke mum up from her ham k-hole (“welcome to the party pal”)

  And now we are all walking with our toes curled into fists.

  From the 5 minute black and white opening credits, you have to admire the amount of auto-fellatio in this film. Despite 2.5 hours of watching Blanchett remove her own rib in an attempt at “Cate-lyn Manson”, you can’t help but enjoy the acting, score, and story. Interspersed with multiple dream sequence GRWM tiktok videos, this decades Black Swan was certainly a journey for my Sunday evening. I was into it.
