Loved so much about this. It’s honestly struck a bit of nostalgia in me. Reminded me of some of the places I grew up in. Walking to the Candy Lady’s place was one of my favorite things growing up. My Lucky’s name was Bobcat. The shoes on the power line were always there. The shared experience of living in poverty and having to lean on your community.

When I finished this movie I took a deep breath as I watched the credits roll, I left the theater, and rode home in silence. This is one that will stick with me for a long time. I’m having a hard time even articulating my thoughts about it, but just know it’s beautiful, heart-wrenching, poetic, and a truly unique experience. It’s a movie that reminds me of why I love movies.
Mad Max movies scratch an itch that not many others do! They’re epic, beautifully shot and the world and characters make for a unique viewing experience. Furiosa is a dawg and I’m excited for whatever the next installment in this series is!
