    The Pope's Exorcist

It’s reminiscent of “The Exorcist”, at least the first part is.
Russell Crowe plays a rather gruff Father Amorth; demon-slayer extraordinaire with a wry sense of humour occasionally.
This film is not particularly scary, it certainly felt contrived. A poor cousin to “The Exorcist” but I still rather enjoyed it, mainly Russell Crowe.

I was really looking forward to seeing this film for three reasons; I love watching horror movies and Helen Mirren plus it’s based on fact.
Visually, it’s vibrant and pleasing to the senses.
Although there are some scary parts the story doesn’t seem to go anywhere. In fact, it was rather tedious.
    I’ve certainly seen better.

I never want to see this film again and yet I can’t forget it.
Bone-crunching, grim, brutal, dark, sinister and gritty are some of the words that come to mind.
Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson performances; a tour de force.
Outstanding black and white cinematography with the foghorn sounding throughout the film adding to the atmosphere.
Uncomfortable to watch, yet mesmerising . . . I don't want to see it again.

    The Dead Don't Die

Would somebody please enlighten me about this drivel, is this meant to be a comedy or what?
Wooden dialogue, wooden acting . . . and somewhat tongue in cheek.
Actually it was good for one thing; it put me to sleep.
Loved the deputy's little red car - it's a cutie.
