Outstanding cast delivers occasional laughs!  Movie feels a little long but overall a fun watch.  Not my favorite Wes Anderson movie but not my least favorite!

Solid acting - solid cinematography and use of the long take - solid hair and makeup. Really wanted to love this movie but in the end I have to say it’s rather slow / dull.  It is the Disney version of this story and leaves out all the dark parts. Overall I didn’t mind the change from black and white to color but in the end his movie just leaves out the full story.

A solid three stars . Not a lot of plot but historically picturesque. A shorter cut would have given it even more bang!  Saw it at the vista 70mm print which was fun as well as the loud sound!

This was a terrible movie. Give a budding filmmaker some money to make something and please don’t ever do this again.
