The serious version of Armageddon! More realistic time frames and vague attempts at scientific realism, although I am sure the astrophysicists in the audience may say different!
The individual story arcs come together well, and there is no attempt to make it all go perfectly. It is very clear that a lot of people will die from early on and that feels right, in an odd kind of way.
It's a bit sappy in places for me, with the "daddy"…

Fun, very very silly, science is ignored in favour of entertainment, Michael Bay loves his light pools.

How to Train Your Dragon 2010
There are few films that please everyone in my family. 4 boys ranging from 6 to 19 - very hard to cater for us all.
The how to train your dragon series hits all the nails on all the heads... you can build a house.
It's warm, tender, amusing and visually perfect. 5 stars may seem a lot for an animated film, but it deserves it. A true family classicTranslated from by
