  I find it really hard to read letterboxd reviews sometimes because I feel like a lot of people on here are obsessed with film analysis and all of that. I agree that it's super important to analyze films but sometimes there are movies like Mamma Mia that should just be left as they are. We love it, our grandmothers love it, can we just let it be and enjoy the ABBA and Meryl Streep? this movie is pretty good. leave it alone.

  Wow. I love focusing on visuals in films and Wicked really ate that up. The way that color is shown throughout the film to display different characters, settings, and moods was really interesting. It's very bold and I appreciate that a lot. Another positive is the way that certain pieces of both the film and the book are woven in to create an art piece that ties the two together very well.
