rewatched last night, same exact feelings i had on the first... it's such a pity how it just dissolves on the third act (which is like the second full half of the movie).
first and second act are full-on, delightful old school saulnier tension (pierre v don johnson is just beautiful to watch) but i struggle too much through the third act. mybe it's just me, i dunno.i love it, anyway.
