  The cult theme is a well trodden movie framework so to make something feel fresh there needs to be more of a hook on the variation. 
  It’s very frustrating that this film gives that great level of intrigue you’re wanting to bite on to but then fails to explore it in an engaging way. There was so much potential for it then to fall flat.

  The Malkovich performance and Nile Rodgers score carry this for its rating.

  This was so cathartic. I felt so heavy with my emotions the whole way through this. Whether it was frustration at the actions of the adult children mirroring some of my own, the feeling of longing for those that are gone, joy at the little relatable humorous aspects littered throughout or the overall aspect of just respecting the relationships we have with the ones we love and the time we have left.
