Black Bag 2025
2 for 2 from Soderbergh this year and on top of that, possibly the two strongest outings in his post “retirement” career aside from maybe Kimi? Slick and steamy which is for sure missed in today’s landscape, but still never takes off *quite* like I would like for it too, which is a common theme among his recent work imo.

In remembrance of Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I remember this was one of the first movies I ever saw him in. I remember him playing that creepy and awkward man that tried to sneak a kiss from Dirk Diggler.
Boogie Nights is one of my favorite American movies, not a great showcase of Hoffman's acting capabilities, but a very small performance of his that I have always remembered.
