i was having. such a wonderful time with this movie. the whimsical tone, the larger-than-life villain, the tight pace, the witty back and forth. giving it two stars for that alone, but i cannot in good faith push above that due to a scene late in the film that tanked the entire fucking thing for me. this isn’t the kind of misogyny that people can argue can be brushed off as “of its time”, this shit is actively harmful and i felt disgusting watching it. set up to be the best one so far, it crashed and burned horribly.
