Nowhere near as charming as it thinks it is. Quirky for the sake of it with surprisingly flat characters despite their outward attempt to be interesting at face value. Nothing resonates. Half-baked in that the comedy isn't funny enough to sustain it, nor is the drama poignant to give it a proper foothold. Skip it.
