the tone feels more fantastical and slightly more juvenile than the first film (unbeatable) but funnily enough it was the slumber party scene that felt the most poignant to me. generations of women in one room, sharing and celebrating girlhood! how incredible is that! it is a feeling that cannot quite be captured in words alone.
