Korine can't completely detach himself from the structures of film form/exhibition.     Suffers from the Black Mirror Problem. There is no society that exists outside of its own sci-fi conceit. Every character/world building element only reinforces the feminist idea at its core: women's bodies are evaluated harshly and they are forced to do whatever they can to stay looking young and beautiful.
