Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Could be the worst Marvel film yet — literally can’t think of a single redeemable quality that it had. The fact that some of the lines were allowed to be in the final version of the film blows my mind. Someone says the line “They come in red now?” after Ross turns into Red Hulk. Actually hilarious

Misses the mark entirely for me. Overindulgent and too focused on trying to appear artsy rather than telling a genuinely interesting, enjoyable story with characters that you care about.

Talk to Me 2022
One of my favourite horrors since Hereditary. It manages to blend genuinely funny moments with some of the most disturbing scenes I’ve seen in film. This is primarily due to the great writing but also the cast who manage to come across as real, relatable people (which is very rare in horror). Hard to believe this was the Philippou brothers’ first film and many of the actors’ first big projects. Everyone was fantastic. The commitment to practical effects also pays off massively; can only see this film becoming more respected over time! Loved it.
