A rock musical with a bangin’ soundtrack and with fantastic production design. This film just screams with personality and I love that about it. I think certain plot choices towards the end were a bit interesting for better and for worse, and had the tendency to take away from the thematic potential of the piece. Overall, fun watch!

Bullet Train 2022
Good God this was so much fun!!! David Leitch really taps into his inner Tarantino without sacrificing his own neon style and it comes across VERY well. Had a lot of “WAIT, THEY’RE IN THIS?!” moments, and the mystery genuinely kept me guessing. It’s the ultimate mix of a greatly told story with fantastic cinematography and kick-ass action that supports it. The only thing that KINDA brings it down is some of the CG in the climax, but that aside, it’s a truly great time in so many ways.
