I would be so happy if they started making movies like this again

Nice and easy watch and fairly entertaining. Hugh Grant is great and him grandstanding and toying with his captives beliefs in the first half is by far the most successful element. As things unravel it runs out of steam a little. Ending a little muddled and but enough for me to Google some fan theories which I always think is a good sign.

Good to see some old fashioned body horror get so much mainstream attention and praise. A little long, but loved the boldness and desire to just take everything one step too far. Really wanted a diet coke.

Love the craft and the world is brilliantly realised and enthralling, just found a touch long and ponderous without much intensity. Might have been tired.
