Saw this in cinema tonight, special screening thing.
Was very good, it's so simple, just a simple story of a man getting revenge.
Goes a bit off target at times, but the choreography and cinematography make up for it.
Very beautiful, very calm, but with such depth and importance.
I know nothing about Brazilian politics or the dictatorship in the 60s&70s, but the situation is familiar (not personally) enough for me to understand. It's just a very sad film, devastating in a subtle way.
Torres carries, but the entire cast is perfect and their chemistry was scarily real, you felt like a fly on the wall for moments noone should ever see.
The ice-cream scene should be studied, a masterful performance.
