    Lynch brushes the left brain aside, displaying for all to see the tonality and rhythm of becoming a parent, and being utterly horrified by the tiny monster growing in your house. He understands that film can convey the logic of a dream as other mediums struggle against the weight of contrivance.  Eraserhead is a really fucked up dream with an against all the odds, pretty cute baby.

I related very strongly to David, as a man who often shuts down his pain and “deals” with it, it can be difficult to feel ala Benji.
