  Wow, I am stunned right now. This film has captured me in its thrall, my mind incapable of forming thoughts. Who is this movie for? The niche model train crowd? The green-screen effects look like something out of the 50s or 60s. The makeup is the stuff of nightmares. Some of the dialog sounds like they clearly did not want to shoot any scene more than once. They credited a model train consultant or something and I could not imagine…

  Many many years ago I went to big nerd camp, I think this one I was learning programming at. One of the counselors had this nice wireless senheiser on ear headphones that he never took off (normally around his neck). There was one day he let me try them out since I was interested in getting a pair, and the song he played for me the Frou Frou cover of Holding Out for a Hero, the credits song of Shrek 2. Not really sure how I felt in that moment but Shrek 2 is great!
