    Alright, full disclosure. I’m a big follower of Chris Stuckmann having started watching his videos about a decade ago.

    He actually was part of the inspiration for me to get into acting and filmmaking in the first place, so naturally I had to check out his directorial debut at Frightfest.

    I was surprised by the wish washy reviews to this one actually. I didn’t think it was bad at all, in fact I rather enjoyed it-finding myself chuckling on more than one occasion at Watiti’s blunt, absurdist dialogue, as well as really rooting for the scrappy Samoan team and smiling from ear to ear during their victories.

    Fassbender was the draw for me here as I’m a big fan of his and it was really cool and refreshing to see…
