  i can't be sure how i feel about this film, it's packaged as a romantic comedy, but watching this in 2025 i felt really uncomfortable about the things we intentionally and unintentionally do to each other because the system says we can or should.
  look after yourself, each other and family as best you can, that's all anyone of us can hope to do.

  there's something quite nice here, the unity and innocence of childhood set against the discrimination and violence of adulthood is black and white

  if you were a child that have had to move, school, countries, suburb, whatever, you will relate to this movie

  loved that brannagh wrote in the joke about the doctor, i have been looking for you since yesterday, classic!

  Eyes Wide Shut explores a couple who goes through a lot of intense adventures; discussions, comes out battered and bruised, not exactly stronger or wiser, but I suppose with just more awareness, and still together. The main characters explore the sexual dynamic between men and women in a most interesting way, Alice, is fiery in the defence of her sex and their ability to have as much sexual appetite as men does. I'm not sure whether this is at all…
