Not only is it a groundbreaking piece of human art, but it displays craftsmanship and cinematic elegance that simply don’t exist anymore.

It’s so awesome when a bold creative choice pays off.

Robbie Williams' story is interesting, but it's not particularly unique. Being portrayed as a monkey coats his pop star career with innocence, forcing you to see him tackle familiar struggles like predatory management and addiction with empathy we might not always grant our fellow human. It also allows the film to seamlessly transition to its fantastical and downright electrifying musical sequences without missing a beat of emotion.
