  Not the worst movie ever, but this turns out to be an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience for me.

  Start with the good stuff. The soundtrack is pretty good, and Rachel Zegler is an insanely talented vocalist and performer who, despite her best efforts, is just completely wasted and dragged down by all the elements of the movie.

  I think the movie started OK, but quickly fell apart as I was exposed to cheap-looking and unimpressive visuals, production design…

  Well, this is decent fun I was expecting.

  The movie’s funny. The action is good, and I really like how they enhanced the pain aspect with the technicalities. All of the actors are good and charismatic, especially Jack Quaid as the lead, who I think is a very well fleshed-out character. I hope he gets to shine in projects beyond The Boys; along with his performance in Companion, he proves his own capabilities as an actor.
