There's a missing throughline and it is felt in the story, the characters and the tone shifts.
Literally it took for a specific character moment for me to actually care about what was happening to these characters. Late Night with the Devil 2023
I don't know about the ending but I was enthralled by the 2nd act (especially because of it's TV format). Didn't really enjoy the "backstage" footage because it didn't seem plausible along with a lot of things that occur throughout the film. I can suspend my disbelief with the other stuff but the idea that a camera followed and listened in on all these convos was kind of crazy. At least that is how I interpreted it during this viewing.
Anywayyy it was sick even though the controversy and ending weigh on it a wee bit.
