Really fun love letter to the transformers franchise. The only weak point was the ‘kids movie’ style dialogue/humor, but the script was solid otherwise. Its a shame that making $150m is considered underperforming these days, but the marketing was pretty bad. There’s a perfect set up for a war for cybertron sequel, but I would prefer a darker tone for that story. Might just be best as a one-off.
Scarlett Johanson and Chris Hemsworth are both particularly talented voices actors. During one scene where Elita was comforting Orion I found myself wanting to watch Her again…
