A quasi-sequel to 2018's Searching, the action takes place all on a desktop screen. This may be the fourth film in this same visual style. It can be a bit distracting. The film was engaging enough for me to put my phone down. Nia Long is the mother of a child she longs to reconnect with. She then decides to take a trip out of the country with some guy she met on a tinder type app and then goes missing. A twist at the end...are you still watching?

A fun film to watch. The movie has a life changing tragedy at the very start of the film. M3gan is a creation set to compete with popular virtual pets. Interesting that the boss wanted to compete by creating something competitively priced, then opts for a 10,000 dollar doll. Artificial Intelligence is truly the terror in this flick. Recommended.
