awesome soundtrack, and such a masterful and poignant ending scene ! does a really good job of capturing desperation and hopelessness within teenagers, the cruelty of adolescence, and how futile our efforts to find meaning in life can seem sometimes.

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
planetarium scene brought me to tears. growing up as a queer kid who didn't have anybody to talk to about that part of me, who turned to media to see myself reflected in lives that were so far away from me, that i could never touch, god this was made for me. the horror of knowing who you are and not doing anything about it. the horror of decaying as a person you never were. yeah man. good shit.
