The Substance 2024
It’s truly a crime that it took me this long to watch this EVENT of a film. The best films are truly those that not only transport you with its style, direction, cinematography etc; but those that are so heinously insane that you have no choice but to tell all of your friends about it for weeks on end and watch it become a cultural phenomenon. This and brat summer are SISTERS. I truly believe that this film represents a niche film culture of campiness and cuntiness that I need to be apart of.
