  such an intriguing concept which was also executed really well.. but still, the plot felt kind of awkward? i was super invested during the first half of this film but by the second half i was somewhat confused as to where things were going. the ending wrapped everything quite well i think and overall, with how much fun i had while watching this, i should rate it higher but idkk i cant point it but something was kind of off. very interesting nevertheless

  actually actually so pissed off tbh this and dune pt2 got snubbed so hard tf. i liked Anora but why is everyone pretending that it was the best movie theyve ever seen in their life. i mean i thought it was really mid 😭 sebastian stan and especially jeremy strong were SOO good in the Apprentice, this movie shouldve really been acknowledged in some way!!

  ive seen really good reviews for this and a lot of critical ones too, and i feel like i fall somewhere in between. needless to say, the film is mesmerizingly beautiful and its also brilliantly acted, both by Justice Smith and Bridgette Lundy-Pane. but at the same time the narrative fell a little short for me, I found it really hard to stay invested throughout the film and the whole pink opaque thing felt a bit too unrealistically forced. also…
