every once in a while netflix comes out with a BANGER of a miniseries and this year its Adolescence. so engaging and so brilliantly acted i was in awe the entire time. would be a 5 stars if only the ending was more satisfying.. it felt too abrubt to just end it there even though i know there wasnt anything more to say. but like i wouldve loved to see a court hearing or trials or stuff like that.. REALLY good nonethless, says so much about the incel culture and misogyny growing on social media especially these days

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
ive seen really good reviews for this and a lot of critical ones too, and i feel like i fall somewhere in between. needless to say, the film is mesmerizingly beautiful and its also brilliantly acted, both by Justice Smith and Bridgette Lundy-Pane. but at the same time the narrative fell a little short for me, I found it really hard to stay invested throughout the film and the whole pink opaque thing felt a bit too unrealistically forced. also…
