The first 30 minutes of this movie was a testament to just how not straight I am. I feel like it didn't go very far and when it did, it took too long to get there. I was expecting this to be campier than it was.

The main characters felt like background characters. When Selena's character leaves, the other girls still didn't feel like they had substantial dialogue or purpose until maybe the end. James Franco was alright, but I…

Attended the US premiere! This film is tender and painful in a cathartic way. The director made an autobiographical film about a director making an autobiographical film about male bonds that part lacking resolution.

I resonated with experiences and responses portrayed in the film and definitely cried a bunch.
