This movie was kindve a let down. I always love Bateman in his roles but in this it didn’t feel like he quite fit. This was good movie. Insanely fun watch. The fight choreography was outta this world, very Jackie Chan style: a lotta improvisation and very dynamic. AND I respect the film more for keeping the camera steady on the action and not quick cutting around it. Quan def proved he can be a leading man in this, he was awesome. Captain America: Brave New World 2025
THIS WAS NOT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. Flight scenes were dope, very top gun maverick-esque. The plot was not bad but it still felt a bit underwhelming, like it was missing something. I wish they focused more on the Leader. They still do the classic marvel undercutting of serious moments w lame improvised humor but Mackie is a funny guy so he makes it work.
