Oh, that awful car sequence. I’ve seen people say it’s good and I can’t for the life of me imagine why. It’s a terrible looking CGI sequence that is so over the top, especially compared to the rest of the film which feels somewhat grounded.
Early on it was great as it was a tense situation and the characters made smart decisions. Eventually however they started doing things just for plot convenience and it became really dumb and nonsensical.
Surprisingly fun although, as expected, the third act becomes pretty generic which is a shame given how strong the rest was.
It’s everything it makes fun of and worse…
I’ve never been able to go to a midnight showing (and in this case a midnight premiere) of a film before so this marks the first time for that and it was a really fun occasion.
The movie itself on the other hand… not so much.
Aside from the approximately first 40 minutes, which were actually pretty fun and good, it is such a letdown.
Repeating the same jokes over and over…
The removal of reviews for this documentary ironically proves it’s point.
