Keith David was done dirty.
Logic regarding the “UFO”, its motivations and rules is completely illogical and contradictory. The main goal of the characters throughout the film could also have been achieved easily, but of course then it’d be extremely short.
It was quite freaky at moments but by the end it was so dull since we knew too much and all tension was deflated.
Just got Apple Tv+ watch season 2 of the masterpiece “Severance”, but figured I might as well check this one out when I had the subscription.
I appreciated the two main characters, unfortunately we are supposed to take them fairly seriously despite them being incredibly inefficient and quite dumb at times.
Also, I really hated that kid and wanted him dead throughout the whole film.
It’s everything it makes fun of and worse…
I’ve never been able to go to a midnight showing (and in this case a midnight premiere) of a film before so this marks the first time for that and it was a really fun occasion.
The movie itself on the other hand… not so much.
Aside from the approximately first 40 minutes, which were actually pretty fun and good, it is such a letdown.
Repeating the same jokes over and over…
The removal of reviews for this documentary ironically proves it’s point.
