Woke up and immediately joined in watching this

I watched Rent once. It was a long time ago, and I only really remember bits and pieces. And I did musical theatre as a kid, so I can relate to many aspects. Can't really relate to the being a creative in theatre, but I get it

Before this, I wasn't really familiar with Jonathan Larson. I had heard the name before, but I didn't even know he was behind Rent. So…

The one majorly nominated film I didn't watch was the one that won everything

With all the awards and stuff, I was kinda expecting something phenomenal, and I didn't really get that. I thought it was good, just didn't totally "wow" me

Mikey Madison did great. Although he didn't have a major role throughout most of the story, Yuri Borisov was also pretty good. I was wondering why he was nominated since he didn't really speak much, then the last half hour happened and I understood

This Love sure was Crazy and Stupid

Kurosawa AND a detective film? Could it be any cooler?

I really liked it. It has all the hallmarks of a great detective film and more

It was weird seeing Mifune in a contemporary setting and clothing. Usually he's in some samurai garb, set against feudal Japan. But it was refreshing to see otherwise

Apparently Spike Lee is doing a remake, with Denzel leading. Whether it'll be good or bad, I don't know; I've never seen a film from Lee, but I'm sure Denzel will act his ass off

    Real good, like

Me second viewing, and I liked it much more this time around. It's what I figured would happen, but I just understood it a wee bit better than last
