The Counselor 2013
I love Cormac McCarthy. I also love Michael Fassbender. But….mistakes were made. It felt like watching a McCarthy book, except that every line of dialogue was put into the mouth of a character who would never say that?? Why do the Guy Fieri (but 10x more Florida / 90s / Roberto Cavalli) nightclub owner and his trashy girlfriend who once fucked his windshield sound like they’re philosophy majors??
Also, I still don’t understand half of the basic plot details.
