    Quite an unexpected experience. Gets almost everything right except the fantastical hopefulness of the resolution. But sometimes, a departure from absolute pessimism feels good to the senses. Re-establishes or reaffirms the ability (and sometimes necessity) of cinema to leave hope in its wake.

    BJH has made Marxism consumable. Pattison is continuously pushing new boundaries for himself. Nothing but pride for the film.
