I can only imagine how fun this movie was to make. Fun throughout and one of the most quotable movies. I like that Chris Tucker took the Adam Sandler approach and made a career from his Smokey character and didn’t feel like changing it through rush hour. Some of the most creative camera movements I’ve seen with multiple decently developed characters and setting for an hour and a half fun movie. This had some really charming moments, strongly paralleling boyz n the hood.

Not really much happened, but good for ice cube im sure he made good money from this. Didn’t really live up to the first movie and was missing significant elements of the first, they were definitely shmacked making this.

Best movie experience i’ve ever had by far, Hans Zimmer giving perhaps the greatest score seen yet that deserves surround sound every time. A great synergy of science and romanticism, Nolan gives us an experience you won’t forget. Surreal visuals and genuine emotions to push a larger than life story instantly become a favorite to so many “film bros” including myself. A true film film deserving of the praise it gets (sorry cash) and in my opinion the magnum opus of McConaughey, Nolan, and Zimmer

Like many I cried watching la la land.

However not just from the amazing story of a unique take on a musical romance, but the intricate and elegant cinematography, framing, perspective, colors, and story. This was my 7th watch of the film and with every watch I am reminded every element is meticulously executed on the screen to create a beautiful interplay between our dreams and reality. Chazelle does not hold back to invite us to his world of romanticism,…
