Brainstorm 1983
I fell in love with this movie pretty quickly. At first I thought it was just because I was stoned and the movie had some trippy effects but then I rewatched it sober and still loved it. The chemistry between all of the characters is phenomenal. I thank most of that to Christopher Walken's natural charm. The concept and execution is great and several times I audibly said "woah!". I'll recommend it to anyone who likes truly odd films.
This movie should have a larger cult classic status than it does but I guess until that happens I will enjoy this cult of one.Translated from by -
Sometimes They Come Back 1991
Not great but not that bad. I didn't realize this was a made for tv movie when I started watching it but i figured it out within a few minutes. I still cant really figure out how it ended up getting an R rating. Maybe they thought the hiring of mid to late 20 somethings to play teenagers was offense to the eyes? The acting was solid but the material was weak.

Barbie 2023
This movie was a true delight. It never took itself seriously but handled it subjects with respect. I laughed throughout and a couple of times a full-barrel belly laugh was heard. The love for classic films is whole heartedly apparent. I half expected the ghost of Gene Kelly to come out and start a wonderful choreographed dance with Barbie while bright colors and physical sets swirled around them! I will definitely be rewatching this for years to come.
