  Star Wars for the ADHD generation. Way too much happening. Lots of subplots that don’t matter. Daisy Ridley was too weak of a main player between Boyega, Isaac, and Driver and that role should have been cast differently. Kept referring to JJ as “Gracie’s dad.”

  Hands down the best of the prequels.

  For all its faults, it’s a solid action flick that plays its politics in a much smarter way than most liberal pundits are able to do nowadays. Lucas doesn’t shy away from claiming that the well-meaning senate is part of the overall plot to destroy the republic. You couldn’t pry this sort of shit out of the top columnists at the NYT.
