Michihito Fujii, one of my favorite directors and someone everybody should experience, dropped a crime thriller. Its about an 18 year old who got arrested for killing a family then at 21 escapes prison and goes and tries to not get caught. The last 20 minutes are what truly did it for me as you can see the impact this case not only has on him, but also the people around him. I love the writing and editing of Michihito Fujii's films as he takes real human elements and emotion and explores them deeply and profounding and in a way that's so unique.

Not for me. Raquel recommended me this one and its rare for rom coms to work for me and this one did not unfortunately. The guy is a lying scumbag and we want him to win? Just tell her the truth dude like holy crap man and then he deflects actual conversation with stupid numbers, and I get that's part of his "character growth", but Hadley doesn't need to be falling in love with a robot who finally figured out how to be human.

Wow wow wow wow wow. What amazing film making, the blocking staging, framing, editing, lighting, writing, screenplay, acting, the chemistry, the direction, I cannot compliment this film enough. This movie is about two strangers who accidentally crossed phone lines and they just start talking about life. The first 45 minutes you don't see a single face, and they did it on purpose because that's how they felt while talking over the phone. What an incredible film and the ending will blow you away as well as the final words. Just wow. Do yourself a favor and watch this.

Very interesting choice to make it shot first person the whole movie! I was quite enthralled right away and it kept me captured nearly the whole time. It helps when it has an 80 minute runtime. Anyways, a movie about a ghost running around a house also talks about incest, rape, and religion. While ambitious in both direction and writing, I found myself mesmerized by this picture.

Its also a bit funny cause I was just talking to some friends…
