It was fine, I guess.

Loved this film, felt so seen as a Black femme who grew up on the internet. Somehow both devastating and hopeful. The editing was flawless. The e-girl chronically aesthetic/memes added a special flavour that made it all at once investigative doc, with a stylized video essay energy. Got me thinking more about tech, cyber-feminism and how race interact. My fav doc this year tbh.

I fear, I did fall asleep during this one.

This movie has it all: Buff ladies. Lesbians. Revenge. The catharsis of watching James Franco's head being bashed into a coffee table. 1980's bodybuilding aesthetics. Killer sound design (I always wondered what muscles woudl sound like) And did I mention ladies kissin'?

Was on the edge of my seat watching this is theatre. Shoutout to the person who excitedly GASPED when Lu and Jackie kissed for the first time cuz same.
