  Bridge of Snooze. Sorry Coen Brothers, but Tony Kushner writes better Spielberg movies than y'all. Perhaps not the right movie for a plane but it is by far the dullest Spielberg I have no seen, being neither especially thrilling nor especially emotional. A 100-minute Costa-Gavras version of this story would be much better.

  A very unique film. The combination of verité dialogue and legitimately thrilling western action really pays off in the hands of talented documentary-to-fiction director Robert M. Young. It's extremely authentic (nice to see Jewish Texan Bruce McGill) except for a wonderfully anachronistic synth score from Olmos himself and Shogun Assassin's W. Michael Lewis.
