  I was looking for some "comfort food." I went into it with low expectations and it did the trick. Kind of nice watching a bad movie that is this good. Part of me thinks it would have worked better without the zombies. Just following these deadpan cops in this quirky smalltown where nothing much happens other than Steve Buscemi's hat. However, that might negate the need for Tilda Swinton to show up with a samurai sword, which was memorable. Maybe lose the zombies, keep samurai sword Swinton.

  From the director of "Battle Royal". MST3K in tone , this may test your stamina but definitely full of "WTF?" moments (Vic Morrow's costuming comes to mind). Not my favorite Sonny Chiba performance and there are so many explosions. So many. Space cop rules, though.
