This is the kind of movie that everyone seems to love and obsess over, and I just don't get it.
I really enjoyed it, lots of poignant moments and many heartbreaking scenes. Beautiful story and beautifully shot too, locations are prime and the period setting is chefs kiss. Casting is excellent and the acting is almost faultless.
But, I didn't find it to be all that. It dragged. A lot.
