Leave it to the person who made the horrifyingly prescient movie about a pandemic to make just about the first movie that happens amidst COVID without actually being about COVID. It is, as it is in real life, for better or worse, a backdrop while other things happen.
Also it’s an entertaining melange of beats from a bunch of his recent movies with a surprisingly cathartic ending in spite of being relatively staid in execution.
