  Es aceptable, emplea bien el movimiento y la emocionalidad del existencialismo en el cine japonés. Siento que faltó contextualizar algunas facetas de la trama porque son de esas pelis que imponen dudas e incertidumbres narrativas. El diálogo bien, pero muy flojo a la hora relacionarlo con la temática psicológica de Goda y sus traumas con su novia. En general, aceptable.

  I can't believe this was made in the 60s, what a masterpiece of the most high cultured filmmaking director. Despite the long and no dialogue scenes, personally i enjoyed them, they brought an introspective touch mostly due to the contrast of epochs, plots and sets of imagery. Certainly this is the best way to end the year: watching a Kubrick movie.

  Muy buena película, con una intención clara, bien definida y demarcada en las escenas y en los diálogos. Ikiru remite a vivir la vida, no como algo descifrable, sino como un cúmulo de vivencias para sentir. Se muestra a un Sr. Watanabe agotado, lánguido por la intensa cultura laboral japonesa dentro del complejo aparato burocratico imperial, en donde vivir, para el no existe.

  Resulta interesante como el concepto de vivir toma un sentido más allá del ser y el estar.…

  Reunification must come to the Korean peninsula. This is such an example of a professional ethnography and documentary, in which there aren't any preconceived judgments and negative imaginaires surrounding the North. Usually, we in the west are bombarded by info portraying the North in a derogatory sense, building a complete framework of thinking that is structured and diffused by the elites through culture industry (yt vids, news, magazines, cinema, books).
