    Not actually a four star movie - but it’s a seminal horror/ slasher for me  - and I LOVED it when I was 12. It’s slow and takes a while to get going, but I still think the editing, music and sound design are top notch. The cinematography isn’t too bad either (I’m a sucker for that soft look). Creepy empty school corridors are my jam. And the disco dance number is hilarious but awesome too! I have zero objectivity here. The Wendy stalk-and-slash sequence with the eerie echos of disco music as the background, is one of the best in the slasher genre IMO.

The cast is super strong - all delivering the mediocre dialogue in the best possible way.
